Job Summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Transport Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to adolescents, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and complex respiratory care procedures using a wide variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care meets quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain all skills and knowledge necessary to provide safe, effective, and developmentally appropriate respiratory care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NRBC).
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or must be obtained within 120-day orientation period.
  • Current NRP certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: Minimum $28.87 per hour - Maximum $46.20 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
