Overview

HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital is seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a respiratory therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Set up and administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer system.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Completion of a vocational/technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
