Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into information security events / incidents, identifying root causes and developing recommendations for remediation.
- Threat Containment and Remediation: Drive efforts towards containment of threats and remediation of environment during or after an incident, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan: Maintain and improve the CyberSecurity Incident Response plan, ensuring it is up-to-date and effective in responding to various types of incidents.
- Audit Management: Lead audit management responsibilities to ensure identified gaps are addressed in respect to required timing to reduce risk.
- Use Case Development: Contribute to the development of use case and prioritization of use case development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the process improvement process through development of new detections and changes in the response processes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Complex Security Investigations: Perform complex security investigations and root cause analyses, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in information security, with a strong background in incident response and threat management.
- Senior Incident Response Lead: Proven experience as a Senior Incident Response Lead, with a strong track record of leading incident response efforts and driving business outcomes.
- Cybersecurity Certifications: Possession of relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as GCIA, GCIH, or other GIAC certifications.
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud security, preferably Azure/AWS security experience.
- Forensic Capability: Strong forensic capability and automation skills, with experience in using tools such as Splunk, Sort, and Phantom.
- AI and Machine Learning: Experience with AI and machine learning, with the ability to analyze large data sets and identify trends and anomalies indicative of malicious activity.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the organization and communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- High EQ: High emotional quotient, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
- Incident Commander: Proven experience as an incident commander, with the ability to lead calls and drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
