- Oversee Audit Management Responsibilities: Manage audit responsibilities, identifying gaps and developing strategies to address them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to Use Case Development: Contribute to the development and prioritization of use cases, working closely with subject matter experts to identify and address security risks.
- Drive Process Improvements: Drive process improvements through new detections and response changes, enhancing our incident response framework and ensuring it is aligned with industry best practices.
- Perform Complex Security Investigations: Conduct complex security investigations and root cause analyses, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Participate in a Rotating On-Call Schedule: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours incidents, ensuring timely and effective response to security events.
- Conduct Post-Incident Reviews: Conduct post-incident reviews, generating After Action Reports to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Coordinate with Technical Teams: Coordinate with technical teams and third-party vendors to resolve incidents efficiently, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure Incident Recording and Tracking: Ensure all incidents are recorded and tracked to meet audit and legal requirements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Strengthen the Overall Response Framework: Strengthen the overall response framework, including SOC and CSIRT functions, ensuring it is aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as an Escalation Point: Serve as an escalation point for the PCI environment, providing guidance for monitoring and response, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Cloud Experience: Cloud experience, preferably Azure/AWS security experience, with GIAC certifications (GCIA, GCIH) preferred.
- Forensic Capability and Automation Skills: Practical experience with Splunk, Sort, and Phantom, with familiarity with AI in security contexts.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Incident Command Experience: Incident command experience, with strong technical capabilities, social awareness, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
