We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Enrollment Operations Coordinator to join our team at Loyola University New Orleans. As a key member of the Enrollment Management department, you will play a critical role in supporting the processing of prospective student applications, sharing university decisions, and providing positive experiences for students and families.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of policies, processes, and initiatives to increase enrollment while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the processing of undergraduate and graduate application materials, including transcripts, recommendation letters, test scores, and personal statements.
- Act as a front-line member of the Operations Team, triaging and troubleshooting early problems, prioritizing requests, and elevating advanced projects to the appropriate Operations manager.
- Assist with the intake and fulfillment of operations service requests and new projects within the Operations project management system.
- Oversee the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of in-office and virtual work-study student employees.
- Manage the general Admissions email account and assist the Campus Visit Coordinator with supervising Student Ambassadors and covering tasks related to facilitating campus visits.
- Provide operational planning, collaboration, and support to all members of the Operations team, with a focus on Assistant Directors of Enrollment Operations.
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities in project management and Slate CRM skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum one year of experience working with an enrollment management CRM, such as Slate.
- Experience working within a higher education admissions recruitment environment.
- Diplomacy and skill in interpersonal relations, with the ability to effectively interface with diverse personalities and disciplines.
- Excellent ability to make sound business judgments and decisions, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently and productively under deadline pressure.
- Creative ability to continually seek out and utilize new technologies and trends to best serve clients.
- Ability to solve complex problems, develop and implement strategies, and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to acquire an understanding of the Jesuit commitment to excellence in education, diversity, social service, and liberal arts and sciences traditions.
- Ability to travel and work outside of traditional working hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
Loyola University New Orleans offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including health care, dental, vision, retirement, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, long-term disability, tuition remission, holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Part-time employees who work an average of 30 hours per week over the course of a year receive certain benefits on a pro-rated basis.
