We leverage securities and corporate governance litigation to achieve significant reforms that enhance market transparency and improve corporate practices.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to support our Corporate Governance litigation practice. This team is renowned for its impactful work in corporate governance, tackling issues such as unfair transactions, executive compensation, and workplace discrimination. The Paralegal will be instrumental in advancing these initiatives, contributing to our mission of promoting transparency and ethical practices in the corporate sector.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal and factual research utilizing platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and BloombergLaw.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including briefs and complaints.
  • Efficiently manage case files and maintain organized reference materials.
  • Perform electronic court filings and oversee calendar deadlines.
  • Assist in deposition preparations and coordinate with external parties.
  • Maintain precise time entries using ProLaw, Dayforce, and iTimeKeep.
  • Participate in monthly virtual Paralegal/Case Manager meetings.
  • Execute tasks assigned by attorneys and the Managing Director of Paralegals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
  • Proficient in cite checking, Bluebooking, and legal research tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Federal/State rules and filings, as well as PACER.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with class action and Delaware Chancery Court cases.

Work Environment:
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
