Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Nurse Supervisor II to join our team at Craven County, NC. As a key member of our healthcare leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and directing public health programs and staff in the Personal Health Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct supervision to staff members in the Personal Health Division, including contract personnel from outside agencies.
  • Assist the Deputy Director in planning, directing, and supervising public health programs and staff.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective program delivery and coordination.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • At least three years of experience in public health nursing, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
