About the Role:

Certified Nursing Assistant II, NA II, is a critical position at RHA Health Services, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to supported individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications to supported individuals according to prescribed dosages, routes, and frequencies, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor supported individuals for any adverse reactions or side effects and report concerns to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Maintain detailed records of medication administration, including dosages, times, routes, and observations or reactions.
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate individual care.
  • Assist with medication reconciliation, inventory management, and medication storage in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to medication administration and individual safety.
  • Maintain competency through ongoing training and certification renewal.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing medication safety, reducing errors, and improving patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Capable of successfully performing physical behavior interventions
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic computer skills
