What You'll Do
  • Register and check-out guests in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, providing complete and accurate information.
  • Complete all tasks on the daily checklist, including pre-assignment of hotel rooms and key control.
  • Follow established credit policies and submit lost and found articles.
  • Balance the daily shift bank and verify cash, check, and credit card transactions.
  • Monitor room availability and review the selling status of the hotel using yield management systems.
What You Bring
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events is a plus.
  • A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is a must.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal with multiple arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
