Key Responsibilities:

This position is integral to the service department, directly reporting to the general service manager, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritized.

  • Conduct a range of skilled tasks including inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various heavy machinery.
  • Perform quality checks on completed repairs to guarantee the vehicle's readiness for service.
  • Diagnose and rectify a diverse array of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment effectively and safely handle hand and power tools.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in all tasks.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and complete service-related documentation promptly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours as required.
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling weights up to seventy pounds and performing various physical activities.
  • Work in both garage and field settings under varying weather conditions.
  • Possess experience with trailers.
  • Order parts and supplies in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure service vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Keep service trucks organized and tidy.
  • Accurately document work and communicate any issues with supervisors.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and bend – up to 100 lbs.
  • Stamina to remain on your feet throughout the work shift.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and listening.
  • Ability to read labels and follow safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Possession of personal tools.
  • Preferred certifications include ASE and brake certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Welding skills are a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and meet the fast-paced demands of the business.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
  • Regularly engage in strenuous physical activities requiring proper lifting techniques.
  • Extended periods of standing, climbing, bending, and crawling while conducting repairs.
  • Frequent interactions with customers and the public.
  • Awareness of potential hazards associated with chemicals and cleaners.
  • Capable of lifting and moving up to one hundred pounds.

Note: We operate as a 24/7 road service and fleet repair and maintenance company, requiring flexible scheduling.
