We are rapidly expanding and seeking reliable and skilled Diesel Truck & Trailer Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is essential in supporting the service department with daily operations. You will report directly to the general service manager, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Conduct a range of skilled tasks including inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various heavy machinery.
  • Perform quality checks on completed repairs to guarantee the vehicle's readiness for service.
  • Diagnose and repair diverse mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools effectively and safely handle hand and power tools.
  • Execute all tasks with safety as a priority.
  • Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Keep accurate work records and manage service-related documentation promptly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours.
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to seventy pounds, and able to perform various physical activities in diverse environments.
  • Work in both garage and field settings under all weather conditions.
  • Possess trailer experience.
  • Order parts and supplies following company protocols.
  • Maintain the service vehicle's upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Ensure service trucks are stocked and tidy.
  • Accurately document work and communicate with supervisors regarding any issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and bend – up to 100lbs.
  • Stamina to stand and walk throughout the work shift.
  • Clear communication and attentive listening skills.
  • Ability to read labels and follow safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Safe operation of company vehicles.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Own tools required.
  • Preferred certifications - ASE, brake certifications, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Welding experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to multitask and meet the fast-paced demands of our business.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Regularly required to lift and move heavy objects using proper techniques.
  • Extended periods of standing, climbing, bending, and crawling while conducting repairs.
  • Frequent interactions with customers and the public.
  • Possible exposure to chemicals and cleaners.
  • Knowledgeable in safe lifting practices.
