Key Responsibilities:

This position involves supporting the service department with various daily operations. You will report directly to the service manager, ensuring that customer expectations are met effectively.

  • Conduct a range of skilled tasks including inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment.
  • Perform thorough inspections of completed repairs to guarantee quality and readiness of vehicles for service.
  • Diagnose and repair a diverse array of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in all tasks.
  • Maintain professionalism in communication with supervisors and team members.
  • Keep accurate work records and complete service-related documentation promptly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be flexible with work schedules as needed.
  • Lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to seventy pounds; capable of climbing, kneeling, twisting, and bending in various environments.
  • Work both in the garage and field under varying weather conditions.
  • Possess experience with trailers.
  • Order parts and supplies in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of service vehicles.
  • Ensure service trucks are stocked and organized.
  • Accurately document work and communicate with supervisors regarding any issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and bend – up to 100 lbs.
  • Stamina to stand and walk throughout the work shift.
  • Clear communication and attentive listening skills.
  • Ability to read labels and follow safety protocols.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
  • Possession of personal tools.
  • Preferred certifications include ASE and brake certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Welding experience is a plus.

  • Ability to multitask and meet the fast-paced demands of the business.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Experience with heavy lifting and proper body mechanics.
  • Extended periods of physical activity, including standing, climbing, and crawling.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemicals and cleaners.

We operate 24/7, providing road service and fleet repair and maintenance. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
