About the Role

The Catering Sales Manager is a key member of the Graduate Roosevelt Island team, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales and marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit new catering accounts and develop relationships with existing clients to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Coordinate and service client functions to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining profitable operations and high-quality products and services.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless execution of events and meetings.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field, or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Graduate Roosevelt Island offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$75,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
