Business Development Manager

As an Account Manager at IEWC, you will be responsible for driving our inside sales efforts by being the primary point of contact for customer interaction. This includes quoting, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop annual account sales plans in partnership with the Business Development Manager or VP of Sales, aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Implement business plans and sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve growth goals.
- Build and manage sales pipelines in line with sales targets, utilizing the IEWC sales process.
- Identify customer needs and tailor solutions that create value for the customer and profitability for IEWC.
- Develop accounts by reviewing customer buying history and focusing on cross-selling and upselling activities.
- Qualify customers to understand their business goals and document this information in the CRM.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers at the customer, utilizing the IEWC inside sales strategy and sales methodology.
- Analyze customer needs and opportunities, aligning with the appropriate IEWC solutions.
- Communicate new products and IEWC capabilities, emphasizing quality of service that creates value for the customer.
- Deliver the IEWC value proposition and align our value wedge to gain a competitive advantage through value differentiation.
- Work with buyers, production managers, engineers, and other stakeholders at each customer to help sell more to the customer.
- Drive results to attain the objectives of the annual sales plan for assigned accounts, partnering with the TM to execute the account strategy.
- Create a robust opportunity pipeline, focusing on increasing the win rate percentage, maximizing the average deal size, and shortening the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with the TM and/or RSM and Sourcing to prepare quotation/bid packages as needed.
- Follow up with customers to ensure IEWC is meeting their service level expectations.
- Process orders and quotes to meet customer demands.
- Complete and maintain all required reports, paperwork, quotes, drawings, records, and documentation.
- Respond to customer requests for information, quotes, pricing, delivery, returns, billings, and other inquiries.
- Provide timely feedback on key market intelligence to Marketing and Sales management.
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Salesforce, SAP, and other standard computer applications.
