Job Title: Part-Time Residential Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Residential Assistant to join our team at NCCF. As a Residential Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to residents, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean living environment, adhering to program rules and regulations.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with the case management team to implement resident case plans and achieve goals.
  • Document resident progress, incidents, and concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or program manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of relevant residential experience.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional teamwork orientation, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstration of cross-cultural competencies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working [insert schedule]. The employee will be required to work in a residential setting, interacting with residents, staff, and community members. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate, with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
