Job Title: Residential Assistant

SOME, Inc. is seeking a part-time Residential Assistant to provide monitoring and oversight of residential/transitional housing facilities and residents.

Job Summary:

The Residential Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, providing support with daily living activities, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform room checks and hourly house walk-throughs
  • Ensure house chores are completed
  • Assist residents in preparing meals, as needed
  • Monitor resident compliance with rules and regulations
  • Provide documentation and maintain communication logs
  • Respond to crisis situations or medical emergencies and report to management and on-call staff
  • Monitor resident self-medication during shift
  • Provide supervision of the facility and residents during assigned shift; maintain safety and security of the facility
  • Provide assistance to residents with daily living activities
Requirements:
  • HS Degree/GED
  • 1-3 yrs experience in social services
  • Experience providing services in addictions or mental health treatment
  • CPR/First Aid; AED; Food Handler's License; Crisis Intervention (Training); Driver's License
Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to sit or stand for long periods.

Position Designation:

This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. You may be subject to drug testing prior to or during your employment with SOME.

In this position, you may be disqualified from employment based on the presence of marijuana in test results, even if you possess a medical card authorizing the use of medical marijuana.
