At Daiichi Sankyo, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Clinical Science to join our team. This role will oversee the strategic direction of clinical trials, providing medical and scientific guidance to Clinical Operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, with experience in study planning, execution, and output.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement study strategies, including biomarker development and clinical trial planning.
  • Provide input on major milestones, clinical trial plans, and contingency planning.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention, establishing contingency plans for shortfalls.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and external KOLs for protocol development.
  • Review emerging clinical data, leading dose-escalation meetings and performing quality assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or PharmD or PhD with relevant clinical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in clinical research, with a strong background in study planning and execution.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
