Regional Medical Director

The Regional Medical Director is a key leadership position at RMA Network, responsible for driving clinical excellence and strategy across the region. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Employ a 'servant leadership' mindset to develop and coach clinical team members
• Drive optimal clinical care delivery execution, clinical performance outcomes, and clinical talent across the region
• Design, develop, review, and execute clinical protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance measures, provider workflow planning, and provider scheduling across the region
• Establish a trust-based partnership with the Regional Business Director to achieve optimal clinical and operational outcomes
• Represent the organization externally, as appropriate, determined by the Chief Medical Officer
• Participate in the hiring, evaluation, counseling, and termination of clinical team members
• Serve as a coach, mentor, and trainer to clinical leaders and staff providers, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting medical services and issues
Requirements:
• Reproductive Endocrinologist (REI) Doctor
• Valid, active medical license in the state of employment
• Minimum of five (5) years' clinical work experience providing direct patient care
• Minimum of 2 years of previous work experience as a Medical Director
• Board certified
• Experienced clinician with a track record of leading care teams, scaling clinical operations, and holding oversight responsibilities over multiple areas
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a dyad relationship
• High business acumen and insight
• Current, relevant, and substantial knowledge of areas related to health center licensing and operations
• Ability to provide leadership to build and reinforce the trust and respect of the dyad relationship to practice teams, patients, family members, staff, colleagues, external contacts, and others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving clinical problems
• Sensitivity to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse patient and employee populations
• Exceptional emotional coping skills, adequate to confront difficult emotional situations and emotional responses of others
• Committed to upholding RMA Network's values in leadership, management, and care delivery
• Proficient in MS Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and presentation software
• Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally, up to 50% of the time, with overnight stays
