Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an Administrative Operations Specialist to provide essential support to our front/back office staff. This dynamic individual will assist in managing day-to-day operations, including employee, patient, and provider schedules, coverage issues, and workflow.

As a key member of our team, the incumbent will coordinate and support workflow, systems, and processes related to administrative support functions within our clinics. They will work closely with leadership to implement policies and procedures, facilitate process improvement, and ensure seamless documentation.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Three years of administrative coordination experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic, business office, or similar setting required.
  • Physician practice or outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • A background in healthcare software applications is advantageous.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated keyboarding ability of 45 wpm.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial.
  • A strong understanding of basic computer skills is necessary.
  • Highly discreet with the ability to handle confidential materials regularly.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and assignments efficiently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.
  • Problem-solving-skills and critical thinking are essential.
  • Strong customer service skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients and all levels of employees.

The estimated salary range for this position is $17.46 - $25.91 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
