The Administrative Liaison will provide comprehensive support to the front/back office staff within the clinic(s) at Rutland Regional Medical Center. This role will assist in the management of day-to-day front/back office operations, including employee, patient, and provider schedules, coverage issues, and workflow. The incumbent will work closely with leadership to implement policies and procedures related to administrative functions and assist with managing change, process improvement, and documentation.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Three years of administrative coordination experience in a physician practice, outpatient clinic, business office, or similar setting required.
  • Physician practice or outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience with healthcare software applications preferred.

Key Responsibilities



  • Demonstrated keyboarding ability of 45 wpm.
  • Medical terminology preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of basic computer skills.
  • Highly discreet, able to routinely handle confidential materials.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully supporting peer staff members in improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with patients and all levels of employees.

Pay Range: $17.46 - $25.91
