Job Description
As a Territory Sales Manager for the market leader in windows, you'll be part of a dynamic team where your contributions are valued, and your professional development is prioritized. You'll be responsible for expanding and cultivating existing accounts while establishing new ones to drive sales growth. You'll provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making. You'll analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and development. You'll strategically plan daily activities using CRM and a structured call frequency system to optimize sales opportunities. You'll conduct sales promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities to foster strong customer relationships. You'll recommend pricing changes within established guidelines based on market dynamics and competitive analysis. You'll address customer complaints promptly, investigate issues, and recommend solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. You'll maintain thorough sales records, including customer profiles and territory/account sales records.
Qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in the building products industry. You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred. You'll have 3+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry. You'll have a thorough understanding of the building products industry and sales management experience in dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments. You'll have strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. You'll have general knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry. You'll be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You'll have solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively. You'll have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of integrity and personal motivation. You'll be adaptable and open to new ways of working, with a positive mindset. You'll be able to bounce back from setbacks, stay focused, and maintain productivity during challenges. You'll be willing to adapt to new processes, technologies, and ways of thinking. You'll collaborate with colleagues, share insights, and work together to achieve common goals.
