Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee and enhance the daily operations of our production teams. This role is crucial in ensuring that all safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and labor utilization objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor a team of employees engaged in the production processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Optimize the daily flow of materials through effective management of manpower and equipment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for equipment and departmental processes.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, focusing on cost reduction in production and maintenance supplies.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with various departments, including Planning, Sales, Engineering, and Business Development.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, work rules, and contractual agreements, utilizing this knowledge to address and resolve work-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate time and attendance records for all team members.
  • Collaborate with Group Leaders and employees to synchronize departmental activities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management within the department.
  • Make informed daily decisions regarding production schedules and personnel matters impacting delivery and quality.

Expectations: Supervisors are expected to uphold high ethical standards and consistently comply with all company policies, work rules, and applicable laws with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, and ISO standards.
  • Strong business math skills applicable to production and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems using logical and scientific reasoning.
  • Competence in handling nonverbal symbols and a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, as well as familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
