Key Responsibilities: The following duties and responsibilities are essential to this role, though additional tasks may be assigned as needed:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor team members engaged in the production processes to ensure adherence to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and labor efficiency standards.
  • Manage the daily flow of materials through the department, optimizing the use of manpower and equipment.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies for equipment and departmental operations.
  • Develop and monitor the annual budget for the department, focusing on cost reduction in production and maintenance supplies.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other departments such as Planning, Sales, Engineering, and Business Development.
  • Understand and enforce all company policies, work rules, and contractual agreements, using this knowledge to:
  • Analyze and resolve workplace issues or assist team members in addressing challenges.
  • Accurately maintain time and attendance records.
  • Collaborate with Group Leaders and team members to synchronize departmental activities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management within the department.
  • Make informed daily decisions regarding production schedules and personnel matters that impact delivery and quality.

Supervisors are expected to achieve these objectives while upholding high ethical standards and consistently adhering to company policies, work rules, and applicable laws with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, and ISO standards.
  • Ability to apply business mathematics principles relevant to production and inventory management.
  • Capable of addressing a range of intellectual and practical challenges using logical or scientific reasoning.
  • Proficient in handling nonverbal symbols (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) and navigating various abstract and concrete variables.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, as well as MRP/ERP systems.
