Job Overview

Cayuse Holdings, a leading provider of technology and government solutions, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Defense Health Agency's Joint Operations Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Crisis Action Team Chief and assist with developing and maintaining SOPs, MOUs, and other official policy documents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and maintaining SOPs, MOUs, and other official policy documents.
  • Provide support to the Crisis Action Team Chief as outlined in DHA, AI-096, Crisis Action Team.
  • Support JOC staff with day-to-day requirements.
  • Coordinate training as required and/or directed.
  • Offer quality and timely communications in response to incoming correspondence, inquiries, and other actions.
  • Coordinate DHA responses during a planned event or actual contingency.
  • Support all planning efforts established by the JOC staff across all other DHA Directorates.
  • Acknowledge receipt via email and pass all taskers routed from and the JOC to the appropriate Action Officer at outside entities.
  • Input taskings and RFIs into JOC tasker tracker.
  • Draft, review, and edit various forms of correspondence.
  • Attend/complete required training in accordance with guiding instructions.
  • Adhere to HIPPA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Education and Training.
  • Active Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Requirements

  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Office Suite of tools including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Broad expertise in research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Ability to professionally interface with various levels of management.
  • Independent and proactive leadership skills.
  • Experience in supporting a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and follow-up on actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to work well in teams or individually.

Working Conditions

  • Professional office environment.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines, including holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
