At KPMG, we're committed to helping our clients navigate the ever-changing market environment. As a Director of Business Development, you'll play a critical role in driving growth and innovation within our Salesforce sales and alliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce Product Development to stay ahead of the product roadmap and participate in product steering committee boards.
  • Promote KPMG's thought leadership through digital marketing and manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, and account strategy and planning.
  • Act as the KPMG Advocate to account teams, Salesforce alliance partner, and clients, educating them on how our solutions address client needs and issues.
  • Engage in account management, including account planning, client procurement, meeting follow-up, pipeline development, opportunity pursuit, contract negotiation, risk management, proposal and Statement of Work development, and revenue attainment.
  • Demonstrate excellence in applying MarketEDGE to qualify opportunities and gain insights from win/loss reviews as input to the integrated sales management process.
Requirements:
  • Minimum ten years of recent sales experience with a focus in the Salesforce ecosystem at the enterprise level.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding individual sales quota year over year.
  • Strong Salesforce Partner professional services ecosystem experience and relevant relationships within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors.
  • Exceptional consultative and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop and lead relationship building activities with C-Level executives.
  • Ability to understand complex content and relate it to industry issues, client needs, and KPMG service offerings.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
