Position Description

As a Director of Business Development, you'll play a critical role in helping OX grow through new business acquisitions. Your primary objective will be to develop sales strategies, tactics, and programs that enable a healthy pipeline of leads and prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead OX's New Business practice in sourcing qualified net/new prospects and ensuring maximum deal flow and conversion through the Business Development pipe.
  • Partner with OX executives to ensure alignment on solution development and facilitate proposal and pitch development.
  • Mentor and support the OX Business Development Representative and help grow the team.
  • Develop requirements for OX marketing to advance and grow the lead funnel.
  • Manage and develop external partnerships as sources of new business.
  • Deliver on ongoing sales projections, forecasts, actuals, and recommendations to help the agency achieve sales and net new business targets.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of agency and/or client-side experience in consulting, strategic marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or an industry-relevant field.
  • Professional experience with high-profile sales and experience with digital experience platforms.
  • Knowledgeable about ecommerce platforms and digital topics.
  • Proven experience building business cases and developing ROI models.
  • Exceptional analytical, communications, and organizational skills.
Measures of Success
  • Building and ensuring the Business Development team contributes to agency sales goals.
  • Achieving 20% Y/Y Topline Growth for the Agency through New Business Contribution.
  • Developing Pitch Pricing Strategies that help actualize 65% Contribution Margin and 15 – 20% EBITA.
  • Target Win Rate 30%.
