Project Engineer

UL is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating fire alarm control panels, determining project scope, and developing preliminary plans of investigation. You will also conduct and witness tests at client sites, communicate with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services, and provide technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate fire alarm control panels and determine project scope
Develop preliminary plans of investigation and determine project specifications
Conduct and witness tests at client sites
Communicate with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services
Provide technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services
Requirements
University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
5-10 years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems
Experience in product certification preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
