Job Title: Front Office Agent

About the Role:

The Front Office Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our valued customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of arrivals and departures.
  • Verify guest credit and establish payment methods, maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality.
  • Manage room availability and guest accounts using our property management system, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Process payments, compute bills, and make change for guests, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting, to support the smooth operation of the front office.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and services, providing accurate information to guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process payments and manage cash handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in property management systems an asset.
