Key Responsibilities:
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking for an Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer to work collaboratively within our Nuclear Services Group.

  • Comprehend the contributions of various disciplines on projects and demonstrate the capability to coordinate and collaborate with other engineering teams.
  • Engage in the evaluation and verification of designs, drawings, and data produced by peers or subcontractors.
  • Develop design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates.
  • Oversee budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Prepare specifications for electrical equipment procurement and installation, and assess technical bids to select appropriate equipment.
  • Innovate solutions to technical challenges.
  • Participate in field installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Supervise and guide routine and advanced technical tasks executed by others on assigned projects, ensuring quality standards are upheld.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in power system design within the Nuclear Industry.
  • Proven expertise in structural calculations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with discipline-specific computer analysis tools and standard office software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledgeable about the International Building Code and building design standards.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Experienced with concrete and steel design codes, as well as working stress and ultimate strength design methodologies.

Compensation:
The salary range for this full-time role is competitive and is influenced by factors such as role, level, and location. Individual compensation is determined based on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
