The coordinator will assist patients in navigating the various specialties offered, ensuring that their needs are met with personalized attention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and return messages in accordance with established service standards.
- Build rapport with patients and their families to ascertain their preferences and needs.
- Schedule appointments based on patient requirements, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Direct patients to appropriate resources when necessary, ensuring follow-up to confirm resolution of their inquiries.
- Implement a follow-up system to address any outstanding requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the clinic's specialties and services available to patients.
- Acquire detailed knowledge of specific procedures and services offered by the clinic.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate optimal scheduling outcomes.
- Consistently project a professional image of the clinic in all interactions.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in outpatient services, is required.
- Extensive experience in scheduling and customer service within a healthcare environment is essential.
