Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising and Development Assistant to join our team at Mount Alverna Village. This part-time position is responsible for securing philanthropic support for our mission and maintaining our community's database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate prospective donors to identify potential supporters.
  • Develop and implement an annual plan of fundraising activities and measurable goals.
  • Research and identify sources of funding for community projects and initiatives.
  • Organize solicitation drives and direct mail campaigns to reach potential contributors.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of benefit events and special projects.
  • Process and record all contributions, maintaining accurate records of donors and grants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable area of study preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant fundraising and philanthropic experience.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Raiser's Edge fundraising software.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification desired.
