About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and develop innovative seasonal menus that exceed our guests' expectations. As a key member of our restaurant leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create and implement seasonal menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the evolving tastes of our guests.
  • Restaurant Operations: Lead daily operations, ensuring efficient service, high-quality food, and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
  • Inventory and Purchasing: Manage inventory, purchasing, and receiving procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all food products meet our high standards for quality, presentation, and preparation.
  • Financial Management: Meet financial targets while achieving food quality and service objectives.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in excellent working condition through regular inspections and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Staff Development: Foster a culture of learning and growth, providing opportunities for staff to develop their skills and advance their careers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Culinary Education: 2 or 4-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Culinary Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably leading large, fast-paced, multi-outlet kitchens.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Passionate about industry trends and techniques, knowledgeable of product, presentation, quality, and preparation, menu concept, design, food costing, and people management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills that foster positive working relationships with all teammates.
  • Flexibility: Flexible schedule, available to work weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays when needed.
  • Certifications: Food Handler Certification, Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, restaurant POS system, inventory management and/or procurement software experience, payroll and timekeeping software, business accounting software may be required.
