Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and motivated Executive Sous Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage the kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- At least two years of progressive management experience in a fine dining establishment.
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is preferred.
