Job Overview

Fairbanks Nissan is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and electrical system problems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and industry developments to maintain expertise and provide exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an automotive service technician position.
  • Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.
  • Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to effectively manage time.
