**About the Role**

K2 Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Consultant for IT Solutions, you will be responsible for discovering and qualifying business opportunities to sell product and service-based IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to sell IT solutions, including data center, cloud, network security, managed print, and VOIP solutions.
  • Customer Relationships: Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers to build trust and establish a strong reputation.
  • Value Propositions: Develop compelling value propositions to address clients' needs, wants, and desires, leveraging industry trends and market insights.
  • Client Management: Manage day-to-day client needs, reporting progress to the VP of Sales, and identifying new business opportunities across the clients' full range of operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Remain current on the latest technology initiatives and solutions, including emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience selling IT hardware products and services, telecom, or other.
  • Client Base: Having an established client base in the Southern CA area is a major plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of network security, data center solutions, hybrid cloud, managed print, Voice over IP, and a willingness to learn emerging technologies.
  • Soft Skills: Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills; ability to present ideas to large groups.
  • Problem-Solving: Solid problem-solving and consultative solutions-selling skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to translate technical complexities into understandable language.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Compensation: Unlimited earning potential with no cap on commission.
