Salary: $80,000-$85,000 annually

Role Summary: The Lead Financial Strategist will be instrumental in delivering financial insights and analyses that guide strategic choices within the company. This position involves financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities, a solid grasp of financial and accounting principles, and the ability to convey complex financial data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Create and sustain financial analyses to aid in business planning and profitability assessments.
    • Offer critical insights and recommendations by recognizing trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Develop and execute reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Assist in the annual budgeting process, constructing budget templates and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, revising assumptions and pinpointing key drivers.
    • Track and report on budget versus actual performance, providing explanations for discrepancies.
  • Business Collaboration
    • Serve as a financial partner to various departments, delivering financial and operational support.
    • Cultivate strong working relationships across the organization to enhance communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in investment banking or financial services is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Direct-to-Consumer sector is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software and Business Intelligence systems (e.g., PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Capacity to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
