The E-commerce Marketplace Strategist will take charge of the Amazon channel, focusing on maximizing revenue and fostering growth. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, employing analytical skills and innovative thinking to drive expansion. As digital consumer interactions evolve, this role will enhance the Brand's connection with consumers throughout their journey.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations of marketplaces, including sales analysis, pricing strategies, and inventory oversight.
- Conduct weekly and monthly performance reporting, providing insights and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Formulate and execute promotional strategies during critical sales periods.
- Collaborate with Planning to optimize inventory within FBA, aiming to boost sales while reducing holding costs.
- Work with agency and brand teams to implement go-to-market strategies that enhance consumer engagement and elevate brand experience.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities to increase revenue, expand market share, enhance search rankings, drive organic traffic, and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and resolve issues effectively.
- Partner with the Brand Protection team to address brand/IP infringement and counterfeit concerns.
- Stay informed about marketplace standards, processes, trends, and updates.
- Manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and communicate potential risks effectively.
- Maintain a proactive, positive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, merchandising, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience managing Amazon and other e-commerce marketplaces, with a preference for familiarity with the Amazon Seller Central platform.
- Experience in buying, merchandising, or planning is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of marketplace requirements and processes for successful selling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience leading teams, managing vendor relationships, and executing cross-functional projects.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas that drive business growth and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in Amazon management and sales growth.
- Willingness to commute as required.
The annual salary range for this position is $90k-$105k. ColourPop also provides a competitive benefits package, including vacation time, health benefits, 401k with a 100% match, paid holidays, and more.
