POSITION SUMMARY:


We are seeking a skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Spark RD&T team, which is dedicated to the design and development of manufacturing processes and software for orthodontic devices.

This role involves supporting the creation of SPARK manufacturing methodologies.

This position is highly visible and requires a seasoned leader with robust technical expertise in process development and a keen interest in the digital orthodontic sector; adept at engaging with all levels of the organization.

As the Technical Program Manager, you will guide a cross-functional team in establishing the roadmap, managing the backlog, and defining the functional relationships and interfaces between SPARK manufacturing systems, the necessary software applications, and various subsystems.

Your responsibilities will encompass leading the team through all phases of the manufacturing software development lifecycle as well as machinery development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overseeing the development of SPARK manufacturing hardware and software.
Contributing to the strategic direction and defining the roadmap for manufacturing processes.
Leading the creation of user documentation as required by global regulatory standards and engineering best practices.
Managing the integration of requirements and development, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation strategies.
Coordinating cross-functional dependencies.
Collaborating with stakeholders (R&D, Product Management, RA/QE, Operations, PMO) to identify requirements, including User Needs, and effectively communicating complex topics to program stakeholders.
Establishing best practices to measure key performance indicators for success.
Working with a global team across different time zones.
Ensuring resource needs are identified and met.
Participating in user interviews.
Analyzing data to support business decisions.
Engaging with other software product teams (R&D) to assess cross-functional impacts, identify dependencies, and plan for comprehensive integration of new features.
Breaking down business requirements into features and user stories.
Drafting user stories (including acceptance criteria and use cases).
Assisting in the development of metrics to inform business decisions.
Communicating with ERP developers and users to fully grasp design specifications.
Participating in backlog grooming sessions and feature discussions.
Involved in development planning and release planning.
Supporting and guiding an RD&T team in developing features per specified requirements.
Generating reports on application development and implementation status.
Preparing and updating hardware and software release documentation.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent relevant experience.

5+ years of experience as a technical program manager, leading complex process development initiatives, with a history of successful on-time releases.

Experience in process definition/improvements, program management, and tools.
Proven experience in team leadership, decision-making, and presenting to groups.
Ability to operate independently across multiple teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in dental/orthodontics and medical devices is highly desirable.
PMI or PMP certification is preferred.

Compensation packages are tailored to each candidate, considering various factors such as geographic location, skill sets, relevant education and certifications, experience depth, performance, and organizational needs.

The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the position's location.

At Envista, it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the compensation range for their role, as decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each case.

The total compensation package may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
