About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced After School Program Facilitator to join our team at Elevo Learning. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programs that promote social-emotional learning, physical activity, and academic achievement for students in grades K-8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and engage students through social-emotional learning, sports, and enrichment activities such as STEAM.
  • Lead lessons designed to increase excitement about learning and promote academic achievement.
  • Assist with homework completion and snack distribution.
  • Effectively manage student behavior and ensure student safety during outdoor activities.
  • Work effectively with staff and embrace professional development opportunities.
  • Serve as a positive role model to students and build their self-esteem and emotional wellness.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
  • Ability to implement engaging lesson plans and maintain accuracy and organization in activities.
  • Effective support for kids' behavioral management needs.
  • Ability to connect with students and foster positive learning experiences.
  • Comfortable utilizing online platforms for training and resources.
  • Collaborative skills to work seamlessly with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete a Live-Scan background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have completed at least 48 college credits or successfully pass an Instructional Aide Exam.
