Position Summary:

As a Visual Merchandising Leader, you will play a crucial role in executing Macy's visual strategies through innovative merchandise displays, seasonal fashion showcases, and engaging promotional events. Your expertise will be essential in crafting eye-catching visual narratives that reflect current trends and seasonal themes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of compelling visual displays that enhance the customer shopping experience
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of fashion trends and seasonal messaging
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure effective workload management
  • Maintain and update visual presentations that align with Macy's brand standards
  • Assist customers in locating products and provide exceptional service
  • Utilize knowledge of store offerings to guide customers and suggest additional items
  • Ensure promotional displays are accurate and meet merchandising standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized shopping environment
  • Perform additional sales and support duties as needed
  • Work closely with store leadership to align on priorities and enhance customer experiences
  • Educate colleagues on visual merchandising best practices

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and respect within the workplace
  • Flexible availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse customer groups
  • Proactive and adaptable to changing customer needs
  • Ability to interpret and execute visual merchandising directives
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandising or visual display
  • Background in art, design, or fashion preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent use of technology and electronic devices
  • Capability to reach, crouch, kneel, and climb as needed
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds
