Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative visual merchandising strategies that align with Macy's brand and seasonal campaigns.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of visual displays and promotional events.
  • Design and build three-dimensional visual displays that showcase current trends and seasonal fashion statements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with locating and retrieving items, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and seasonal fashion statements to ensure accurate and effective visual displays.
  • Work closely with store partners and regional visual leaders to ensure alignment with merchandising guidelines and customer expectations.
  • Educate colleagues on basic merchandising and visual presentation techniques to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of retail merchandising and/or visual display experience.
  • Art, design, or creative background; awareness of current fashion trends preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
  • Self-starter who is able to adapt quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
  • Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
