Role Summary

As a Leader in Prestige Sales, you will enhance sales and elevate customer service within Macy's Beauty department. As a connoisseur of Prestige cosmetics across various brands, you provide outstanding service experiences by assisting customers and mentoring team members. Your keen awareness of current trends and your ability to guide others make you an invaluable asset to Macy's team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Motivate teamwork to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Assist the entire Beauty team in executing market share initiatives
  • Showcase product knowledge to foster customer loyalty
  • Drive sales through brand training, events, and strategic initiatives
  • Utilize our clientele program to build customer relationships, meet sales objectives, and promote new products
  • Encourage brand loyalty by engaging customers in our rewards program
  • Collaborate with vendors and store leadership to implement company and store events aimed at achieving sales targets
  • Evaluate business performance and devise strategies to surpass daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual objectives
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop team members on policies and goals
  • Lead product demonstrations and peer training sessions
  • Manage merchandise processing, including damages and returns
  • Comply with hygiene standards and asset protection protocols

  • Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead a team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of vendor lines and beauty trends, serving as a reliable resource.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (at least two consecutive hours)
  • Frequent use of computers and handheld devices
  • Physical activities including reaching, crouching, kneeling, and color vision
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
