Job Overview

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC (A3T) is seeking a Senior Help Desk Specialist to enhance our team in delivering comprehensive Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security (CS) assistance to a federal government agency and its mission partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee helpdesk personnel, delegate tasks, train new team members, and manage various responsibilities associated with leading a government help desk.
  • Prepare weekly reports detailing the daily operations conducted by the Help Desk team.
  • Verify that all newly deployed computers, peripherals, or devices are operational and accurately recorded in the inventory.
  • Install and evaluate new PC software, ensuring proper functionality and logging into the inventory.
  • Engage with organizational staff to assess hardware and application requirements.
  • Provide telephonic support to local area network (LAN) users.
  • Offer technical assistance to users encountering issues with their applications.
  • Diagnose problems using diagnostic software when feasible. For issues that cannot be resolved immediately, create an issue report recommending the necessary actions to address the situation.
  • Utilize Remedy for ticket management.
Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma with ten (10) years of relevant IT experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field with six (6) years of pertinent IT experience.
  • Possession of Security+ or a higher-level security certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of desktop support services.
  • Experience with the Remedy ticketing system.
  • Ability to produce well-written reports free of errors.
  • Experience in LAN installation, encompassing both hardware and software.
  • Provide installation, implementation, and troubleshooting support for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom-designed applications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all security and hardware configurations.
  • Conduct oneself professionally in all interactions with customers and team members.
  • Exercise sound judgment and deliver a high level of customer support in a professional manner.
