Position Overview

Agil3 Technology Solutions LLC (A3T) is seeking a Senior Help Desk Specialist to provide essential support in the execution of Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security (CS) services for a federal government agency and its mission partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee helpdesk personnel, delegate tasks, mentor new staff, and manage various aspects of a government help desk.
  • Compile weekly reports detailing the daily operations of the Help Desk team.
  • Verify that all newly acquired computers, peripherals, or boards are operational and recorded in the inventory.
  • Install and evaluate new PC software, ensuring proper functionality and inventory logging.
  • Conduct interviews with organizational staff to assess hardware and application requirements.
  • Provide telephonic support to LAN users.
  • Deliver technical assistance to users facing challenges with their applications.
  • Diagnose issues using diagnostic software when feasible. For unresolved problems, prepare an issue report recommending appropriate actions.
  • Utilize Remedy for ticket management.
Qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
  • A high school diploma with ten (10) years of relevant IT experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field with six (6) years of pertinent IT experience.
  • Possession of Security+ or a higher-level security certification.
  • Extensive knowledge of Desktop support services.
  • Familiarity with the Remedy ticketing system.
  • Ability to produce clear and accurate reports.
  • Experience in LAN Installation, covering both hardware and software aspects.
  • Provide installation, implementation, and troubleshooting support for COTS and custom applications.
  • Adhere strictly to all security and hardware configuration protocols.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with customers and team members.
  • Exercise sound judgment and deliver high-quality customer support professionally.
