Logistics Partnership Manager

Advatix, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Logistics Partnership Manager to enhance our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in fostering a collaborative relationship between our organization and our clients, combining elements of Customer Service Management and Logistics Coordination. The Logistics Partnership Manager will report directly to the Director of Transportation and will primarily operate at the client's site.

The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner, working closely with clients to comprehend their operational needs and providing both tactical and strategic guidance to surpass their expectations. This role is essential in identifying and capitalizing on potential growth opportunities while upholding the company's core values and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

  • Oversee the processing of outbound shipping orders for transportation clients.
  • Utilize advanced proficiency in the Cloud Suite Logistics Execution Platform (LEP) and other client-preferred logistics management systems.
  • Conduct thorough rate comparisons to secure optimal pricing options.
  • Coordinate shipment bookings in accordance with established business protocols.
  • Maintain vigilant oversight of order statuses, promptly reporting any delivery delays to management and facilitating solutions to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Execute billing and reporting tasks in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Address shipping claims for lost or damaged goods, collaborating with carrier representatives for effective resolution.
  • Engage in customer-facing account management as necessary.
  • Drive the achievement of Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement in projects and initiatives.
  • Organize and manage customer update meetings, highlighting business health risks and recommending actions for optimization.
  • Ensure invoicing aligns with current rate agreements.

Customer Service Collaboration

  • Work with customer partners to develop actionable plans and strategies that exceed performance goals.
  • Analyze account performance data weekly and communicate insights and solutions to clients and internal teams.
  • Monitor fulfillment performance metrics and identify trends in underperformance or overachievement.
  • Continuously identify and relay customer recommendations and opportunities for improvement to relevant teams.
  • Lead communication efforts with appropriate teams to establish effective action plans.
  • Collaborate with customer service operations to provide comprehensive support.
  • Identify new business opportunities and communicate them to the Sales and Client Services teams.
  • Build strong relationships with customer partners, leveraging brand standards to gather insights that inform business priorities and drive customer success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional capability.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the small parcel logistics sector, either with a carrier or shipper.
  • Familiarity with logistics processes, including hazardous materials, import/export regulations, customs clearance, and oversized cargo management.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
