Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to spearhead the development and management of long-term contracts in the Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) model across various markets.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing opportunities within municipal and industrial sectors, particularly in the southeastern regions. This position will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess existing assets and future initiatives that can leverage our WaaS offerings for both municipal and industrial clients.
  • Engage with prospective clients to advocate for the WaaS model and establish a competitive edge for Seven Seas Water Group.
  • Identify and strategize with key decision-makers to facilitate project advancement.
  • Build relationships with relevant local and state officials to navigate legislative frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients during the project development phase, ensuring alignment with Seven Seas Water Group's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the business development team, engineering, finance, and legal departments to craft compelling project proposals.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Proactive individual with a strong drive to identify and finalize projects.
  • Proven track record in sales within a related industry.
  • Understanding of municipal governance and utility decision-making processes.
  • Adept at recognizing key stakeholders in both municipal and industrial sectors.
  • Ability to balance new business development with ongoing project management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and relationship-building skills.
  • Capability to formulate project-specific business development strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Education and Experience

Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technical sales, with a preference for candidates with public-private partnership (P3) project experience.
  • Experience in the water, wastewater, and desalination sectors, particularly in selling WaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with the regional landscape and established relationships in the industry are highly valued.
