Duties and ResponsibilitiesSpecific duties include, but are not limited to: Partner Management & Relationship Building:
  • Build strong relationships with partners, serving as the primary point of contact and leading communication.
  • Develop a deep understanding of partner goals, offerings, and campaigns to tailor effective activations.
  • Manage partner budgets and activations, ensuring fiscal responsibility and successful execution (logistics, project management, T&Cs).
  • Facilitate internal collaboration to fulfill client needs, resolve issues, and identify upsell/renewal opportunities.
  • Leverage client insights to support contract renewals and maximize revenue.
  • Maintain accurate partner information for efficient collaboration.
  • Assist with special client requests, exceeding expectations.

Inventory Management & Reporting:
  • Oversee asset delivery (signage, media, tickets, etc.), tracking progress and providing monthly recap reports.
  • Lead creative approvals and provide strategic oversight for all partnership inventory.
  • Generate impactful quarterly and annual ROI reports, showcasing partnership performance and key data insights.

Collaboration & Industry Expertise:
  • Collaborate across departments (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Effectively present information to secure partner and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to identify best practices and new revenue generation opportunities.

Partnership Strategy Development:
  • Support VP of Partnership Marketing in the development of account, category, and league specific strategies for partnership activation.
  • Contribute to activation ideation for both existing and prospective partners.
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, i.e. account management, client service, agency, or sports marketing, preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client service skills and competencies required.
  • Proven effectiveness when working under pressure and flexibility to accommodate rapid change.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work independently to problem solve.
  • Collaborative and open-minded team player with the confidence to deal with senior internal and external figures.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to schedule and prioritize multiple work streams effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with team members, executives, member clubs, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a multi-faceted, fast, fluid, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
  • Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel if / when necessary.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization.
Work EnvironmentBased in Tampa, FL, USL Headquarters provides a vibrant and open working environment designed to promote collaboration, the exchange of ideas, and knowledge sharing. From Monday to Thursday, team members gather in person to harness the power of face-to-face collaboration. On Fridays, we transition to a remote work setup, providing our team with the flexibility to manage their tasks in an environment of their choosing. Typical USL HQ hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm ET. Evenings, weekends, occasional holidays, and travel may be necessary based on business demands.
