Medical Representative

Key responsibilities include:
- Executing brand strategy and tactics in the field to drive sales performance
- Effectively managing assigned territory and targeted accounts
- Building strong customer relationships and solving customer needs to maximize short and long-term sales performance
- Delivering sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives
- Creating pre-call plans using SMART objectives and executing post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance
You'll also be responsible for:
- Continuously building understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise
- Sharing market intelligence information with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to achieve alignment, anticipate environmental changes, and optimize brand strategy and execution
- Differentiating AbbVie's value proposition with health providers assigned and identifying, developing, and maintaining disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas
- Commercial pharmaceutical industry experience, such as physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing
