We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join IQVIA Laboratories business as a key member of our team.

As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for securing and retaining business through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and leveraging potential new business opportunities.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the customer organization.
  • Pursuing awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing.
  • Identifying potential opportunities and communicating them to management.
  • Working with operations and functional managers to identify sales team and preparing and leading the sales presentation. Educating team participants in customer culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques needed to close the sale.
  • Handling follow-up related to the sale and completing contractual documents.
  • Adapting successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and financial targets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management.
  • 12 years related experience, including 5 years of relevant industry (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and/or sales experience.
  • Sales experience in central laboratory services
  • Proven track record at mid-level and high-level contacts.
  • Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Q2 Solutions' ability to operate and provide certain services to customers and partners necessitates Q2 Solutions and its employees meet specific requirements regarding COVID-19 vaccination status.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $134,000 to $249,000. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
