Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our General Construction team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a Project Engineer, you will provide technical knowledge and expertise to develop and execute projects that meet safety, reliability, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with system and infrastructure engineering and subcontractors to execute projects at the Naval Reactors Facility in Idaho.
  • Develop and execute projects that range from short duration to multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects.
  • Provide technical knowledge and expertise to ensure projects meet safety, reliability, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in construction, engineering, or a science-related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations and Standards.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes and Standards.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient technical writer.
  • Effective communicator and problem solver.
  • Experience with planning and executing projects.
  • Experience with scheduling software (i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project).

Pay Range

$76,000.00 - $117,000.00 annually.

Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
